Dear Mr. Rooker,
I am writing to express our gratitude for your participation and assistance with the Disabled Student Alliance’s fundraiser centered on AMC’s “The Walking Dead.” Your assistance was invaluable, as our event raised over $1200 to support our student group.
The Disabled Student Alliance exists on campus to eliminate stigma, empower students and educate the community on issues surrounding the disabled population, and your assistance with our event made a tremendous difference. The group has decided to make you an honorary member!
As a result of this successful evening, the students have decided to hold an infant car seat safety check closer to summer. Funds raised from your autographs will go to purchase child car safety seats, with the emphasis on educating the community, and preventing traumatic brain injury in children.
On behalf of all our students, thank you.
