Interview with Michael Smith, World Scene writer
Michael Rooker has an action figure.
“Not only that, but I’m in a videogame. You can play as Yondu,” Rooker said proudly, taking time out from his schedule at the Wizard World Comic Con in Austin to conduct a phone interview to talk about Yondu.
That would be Yondu Udonta, the guy with the blue face and stubby mohawk hairdo who’s the leader of a band of mercenaries in “The Guardians of the Galaxy.”
Rooker is coming to Tulsa in four weeks for the city’s first Wizard World convention celebrating all things comic books, fantasy lore, TV, movies and more…
